The Northern Uganda Self-Sufficiency Project (NUSSP), situated in Northern Uganda, Omoro District is a registered Community-Based Organization (CBO) founded in March 2019. This Organization serves vulnerable communities in Northern Uganda that experienced over 20 year war. We prioritizes education and health, advances agribusiness, food security, and livelihoods, assists vulnerable families, preserves environment and cultural values.

ViSION STATEMENT

A community that prioritizes education and health, advances agribusiness, food security, and livelihoods, assists vulnerable families, preserves environment and cultural values.

MISSION STATEMENT

To support vulnerable communities to access education, break the vicious cycle of poverty, promote healthy living, foster socio-economic development through community-led agribusiness, food security, and livelihoods project implementation, and offer holistic and systemic self-sufficiency solutions.

How we will get there

Our Goals

MISSIONARY OUTREACH

To establish and build an Orthodox Church Community in an area of Northern Uganda that is underserved. The church will be at the center of the community

HEALTH CENTER

To establish a health center in order to provide medical services to the community.

 

Agriculture | FARMING | LIVESTOCK | BEEKEEPING

To establish an agriculture program (farming and livestock) to provide the community with food and sustenance in a sustainable manner.

SCHOOL EDUCATION

To educate the community youth utilizing adults who have been educated. To establish a school where students are not only educated but learn the act of gifting to others.

candle & VESTMENT making

To provide employment/income opportunities with church related small businesses. To provide the Church with candles and beautiful vestments.

TRANSLATION SERVICES

To translate church services & education materials into the Luo language.

MEET COMMUNITY NEEDS

To serve those in need as we have been taught in the Beatitudes.

FOSTER CHRISTIAN LIVING

To foster Christian living through the sacraments. To establish and implement adult education programs for those received in the Faith and those seeking the Faith.
